OxWell 2025
School Sign Up is now open!
We are excited to launch the 2025 OxWell Survey will be much shorter (around 15 minutes) with a special focus on how to provide the best mental health supports for young people.
The survey is for primary school Years 5 and 6 and secondary schools Years 7 to 13.
OxWell aims to better understand the mental health and wellbeing of school students by:
Asking about their worries and how they might like to receive support.
Providing schools and services with information about what young people want and supporting positive change by providing insights into young people’s lives and experiences.
What Topics will be Covered?
The main survey will cover core topics and there will be additional topics which are optional.
Questions will ask about sleep, anxiety, low mood, bullying, social media use and mental health support.
The survey is approved by the University of Oxford Research Ethics Committee (R62366).
In response to our feedback from our collaborators across the NHS, Public Health and Education we have made the following changes to the 2025 survey:
- The survey is now around 15 minutes
- A new platform will host the data
- Added additional resources
- Enhanced communications for teachers
