The OxWell 2025 Survey
The OxWell Student Survey 2025 collected responses from 35,000 students, gathering valuable information from students about their lives, mental health and wellbeing. Collectively, students attended a total of 95 primary schools, secondary schools and Further Education Colleges (FECs) in England, and were mostly aged 9 to 18 years. OxWell 2025 collection was mainly conducted from 24 February – 28 March 2025.
New OxWell Data Platform: OxHub
Secondary schools, who took part in OxWell 2025, can access their data online via our new online digital platform OxHub.
Schools can compare their results to the whole OxWell study and other schools (without being able to directly identify which schools these are), and potentially identify areas where pupils most need support.

What Topics were Covered?
The main survey covered core topics and there were additional topics which were optional.
Questions were about sleep, anxiety, low mood, bullying, social media use and mental health support.
The survey is approved by the University of Oxford Research Ethics Committee (R62366/RE017).
